The Triangle Cross Country Ski Club of Brockville is a non-profit organization operated and maintained entirely by club member volunteers.

From Brockville:

North on Hwy. 29 to Temperance Lake Road, west on Temperance Lake Road to County Road No. 5, south on No. 5 to MacIntosh Mills. Chalet located at 114 Marsh Road, MacIntosh Mills


From Kingston:

East on Hwy. 401 exiting at Mallorytown (interchange #675), north to Hwy. 2, east on Hwy 2 to County Road No. 5, north on No. 5 to Macintosh Mills. Chalet located at 114 Marsh Road, MacIntosh Mills.


From Ottawa:

South on Hwy 416 to the 401. West on Hwy 401, exiting at Mallorytown (interchange #675), north to Hwy. 2, east on Hwy 2 to County Road No. 5, north on No. 5 to MacIntosh Mills. Chalet located at 114 Marsh Road, MacIntosh Mills.


Places to Stay

Perhaps you would like to stay in a 150 year old stone mansion, one of the top ten country inns in Canada. It is the Denaut Mansion Country Inn situated in the Village of Delta which is a 20 minute drive from the ski trails. Click here to go to the Mansion's web site.


There is lots of accommodation to choose from in the City of Brockville which is also a 20 minute drive from the ski trails.


Facilities



The main chalet is located at the entrance to the Western Trail System. It is heated by a large wood stove and overlooks a conservation marsh. There is a   wax room, small changing area, kitchen including an electric stove and microwave. Bottled water is usually in the kitchen. A Mens' and Ladies' outhouse are close by on the edge of the parking lot.









Cross Roads Shelter is a lean-to with a wood stove and supply of firewood. It is situated 4 kms. from the entrance to the western trail system. There is a portable toilet in this location.










Membership Information

Members receive the combination to the lock at Macintosh Chalet, periodic newsletters throughout the ski season and unlimited skiing on the trails. Membership fees for the 2008/09 season are as follows:

A social membership is available as are adult training lessons on request.


Day Users

Day users are welcome on the club's ski trails. Day users ski on an honour system and should deposit their $5 daily user fee in the money box located by the ski club sign adjacent to the chalet. Trail maps are available in the chalet. The chalet is open on Saturdays and Sundays and on weekdays when a member of the club or executive is on the ski trails.
